The bearings that mainly bear radial load are radial bearings. The nominal contact angle A0 < = 45 0 = "" br = "" > n-type and nu type cylindrical roller bearings can only bear radial load, and other types of radial bearings can bear both radial load and axial load.
2. Axial load of bearing
The bearing mainly bearing axial load is generally thrust bearing, and its nominal contact angle A0 > 450. Thrust bearing and thrust angular contact ball bearing can bear axial force in one or two directions at the same time according to different structures. When the bearing force is particularly high, thrust cylindrical roller bearings and thrust self-aligning roller bearings are preferred.
Thrust self-aligning roller bearing and one-way thrust angular contact ball bearing can bear axial load and radial load at the same time, while other thrust bearings can only bear axial load.
3. Length compensation of bearing
Supporting a shaft and bearing usually adopts the structure of combination of fixed bearing and floating bearing. The traveling bearing compensates the length error and thermal expansion of the shaft.
Nu type and n-type cylindrical roller bearings are ideal traveling bearings, which can compensate the length by themselves. The inner and outer rings of the bearing can be tightly matched.
Length compensation of sliding fit
Non separable bearings (such as deep groove ball bearings and self-aligning roller bearings) can also be used as traveling bearings. One of the two rings of this kind of bearing is matched, and there is no axial fixed surface. Therefore, one ring of the bearing can move on its bearing surface.
4. Separable bearing (precision)
This is a bearing whose rings can be installed separately. When both rings are tightly matched, its advantages are very prominent.
Separable bearings include four point contact ball bearings, double row angular contact ball bearings with double half inner rings, cylindrical roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, thrust ball bearings, thrust cylindrical roller bearings and thrust self-aligning roller bearings.
Here is also a type of inseparable bearing:), which includes deep groove ball bearing, single row angular contact ball bearing, self-aligning ball bearing, Peng shaped roller bearing and self-aligning roller bearing.
accuracy
In most cases, the application of rolling bearings with general size and rotation accuracy is sufficient. When the requirements are higher, the bearing needs a higher accuracy level (e.g. machine tool spindle bearing).
5. Non neutral compensation
Misalignment occurs when machining the mating surface of journal or bearing seat, especially when the machining of the mating surface is not completed in one-time clamping. Misalignment can also occur when using bearing pedestals (e.g. flange bearing pedestals or vertical bearing pedestals). Misalignment also occurs when the shaft is bent and deformed due to the working load, resulting in the inclination of the inner and outer rings of the bearing.
Self aligning bearings can compensate for misalignment and inclination, such as self-aligning ball bearings, Peng roller bearings, centripetal and thrust self-aligning roller bearings. This kind of bearing has a concave spherical outer race, in which the rolling element and inner race can rotate. The ability of these bearings to compensate for shaft center deflection depends on their own type, size and load condition.
Both the outer spherical bearing and the thrust ball bearing with race have a spherical bearing surface: when installed in the concave spherical race, the deflection angle can be adjusted and compensated.
speed
The friction of single row bearings is particularly low, so * * speed can be achieved. Such bearings include deep groove ball bearings that can only bear radial load and angular contact ball bearings that can bear combined load.
The allowable speed of the bearing can be improved by improving the dimensional accuracy, rotation accuracy and the accuracy of the mating parts of the bearing, adopting the lubrication and cooling mode and using a special form of cage.
Low noise operation
In small motors, office equipment and household appliances, the operating noise is generally required to be lower.
6. Conical hole
Bearings with conical holes can be installed directly on conical journals (e.g. single row and double row cylindrical roller bearings in high-precision structures). When installing this kind of bearing, the given radial clearance can be adjusted.
Most self-aligning ball bearings, drum roller bearings and self-aligning roller bearings with conical holes can be installed on the cylindrical journal through a set sleeve. These bearings are particularly easy to install and disassemble.
7. Stiffness
Bearing stiffness usually refers to the force required to make the bearing produce certain elastic deformation. The bearings on the machine tool spindle and pinion shaft are required to have high stiffness. Due to the different contact conditions between rolling element and raceway, the stiffness of roller bearing is higher than that of ball bearing.
8. Friction
In addition to being heated and dissipated, the internal friction also plays a great decisive role in the working temperature of the bearing. Low friction bearings include deep groove ball bearings bearing radial load, single row angular contact ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings with cage. Contact sealed bearings, fully loaded cylindrical roller bearings and thrust roller bearings will produce greater friction.
