1: Stamped steel cage. The stamped steel cage of Timken cylindrical roller bearing is made of low carbon steel through a series of cutting, forming and perforation processes. The one-piece design can be a finger cage as shown in or a standard cage with fully polished pockets. This cage is used for large diameter cylindrical roller bearings where machined brass cages cannot be used. When using this design, it is usually possible to increase the number of cylindrical rollers, so as to improve the bearing capacity.
